Keegan

Keegan went into cardiac arrest last evening. He is now on a machine that takes his blood out of his body, gives it oxygen, and then puts it back. Because of Keegan's heart defect and the surgeries he has had, it is very difficult to get blood to the brain and back to the heart doing chest compressions. As a result of his condition and the length of time he was in arrest, there is a good possibility of Keegan having brain damage. If the brain damage is severe, nothing can be to done to extend his life. Right now he is resting and is very sedated. We will know more later today.
