Keegan's new bed

So here are some pictures of Keegan's new bed. And a picture of Courtney wearing Nathan' s work socks. They are longer than her legs.

It's been awhile

So it's been like two weeks since I blogged. Where did the time go? So here is a basic recap of the past few weeks...

I got a kitty, which I'm sure you know if you read my last blog. Our dog and her are finally getting to be "friends." Courtney still continues to love the kitty and walks around carrying her like a baby. Keegan has shown more interest in the kitty. But once she is out of sight out of mind. When he does manage to catch her, it is a very strong love he shows.

Courtney started preschool last week. She goes to the Lincoln public school twice a week from 8:15-12:15. She really enjoys it. Keegan is sad to see her go, and isn't sure what to do with himself at home alone. He is always asking where Nene is. (Keegan calls Courtney, Nene.) This Thursday, Courtney is going on her first field trip to a farm. I know she will have a great time. I am excited to hear all about it.

Keegan is now sleeping in a toddler bed. We bought a Cars bed and put it together yesterday. Last night was his first night in the bed, and he did okay. He kept getting out and walking around. But he was fast asleep at 8:30, which was good, because he went to bed at 8. At least he wasn't up all night wandering around.

Courtney has an appointment with an Otolarynologist in June for a consultation for ear tubes. Courtney has had fluid in her ears for awhile now, and it is effecting her speech. And Keegan has an appointment with GI. We need to get some more meat on his bones. I always have a hard time finding pants that fit him. He is so long and skinny.

So that is us in a nut shell. I will try to get pics of Keegan's new bed, right now he is napping.

I got a kitty!

Nathan let me get a kitty for Mothers Day! She is so sweet! Her name is Nina and she is 8 weeks old. Courtney loves her. She is always holding her, and rocking her. It is so cute. Keegan is less entertained by the new kitten. He is just happy she doesn't bother him.

Courtney turns 3!!

Happy Birthday Courtney! Courtney's birthday was last Sunday. We didn't really have a party, but we invited some close friends out to lunch with us to the Rain Forest Cafe. The kids had a blast. The Rain Forest Cafe is probably our kids favorite place to eat. Mainly because of all the animals. The food there isn't that great, and definitely over priced. While I did remember to bring my camera with me, I forgot to actually take the pictures. However, since we live so close to the restaurant, I am planning to take the kids back there, and take a few pics. (And for those of you who don't know, the restaurant is in the mall, so it won't look weird for us just to show up, take pictures and leave.)

We got Courtney a bike for her birthday. And of course it rained on Sunday, so she couldn't ride it outside, and it has been colder here. So maybe this weekend, it will be warm enough so she can ride it outside.
